Sand Harbor is a special place for Bri and I because we eloped and were married here on a Tuesday evening in August of 2012. Lately, we've been parking here to walk the East Shore Trail. It's a pretty place to park and walk from and a nice change of pace from parking at Tunnel Creek. By the time summer comes around the park will be full to capacity almost every day so they close the gates to additional visitors. This time of year is perfect to enjoy the park.
